Tony is Founder of Knox Electric. He is a Licensed C-10 Electrical Contractor and a California Certified General Electrician who had an established career as a General Foreman with one of San Diego's largest and well respected Electrical Contractors before deciding to strike out on his own. He also has an EVITP (EV Charger Installer) Certification along a NLCAA Title 24 Lighting Acceptance Test Employer Certification. In addition, Tony is also a Class A HCAI Inspector of Record that specializes in the construction of Healthcare Facilities. He also carries an NITC 6020 Med Gas Inspector Cert as well as many different ICC Certifications to include California Commercial Combination, Building, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Stop Inspector. 

20 years of experience as an Electrician that heavily specialized in Healthcare Construction has provided Tony with many opportunities to work on ground up  projects such as Sharp Memorial, Rady Childrens, Scripps La Jolla CVI and Crestview Skilled Nursing Facility to name a few. While on projects such as these he has built Operating Rooms, Hybrid Operating Rooms, Sterilization Processing Departments, MRI's, PACU's, ICU's and Interventional Labs first hand. 

He also has 4 years of experience as an Emergency Generator Technician, installing, troubleshooting and servicing Emergency Generators and Automatic Transfer Systems. In addition to the above Tony served in the United States Marine Corps. as an Avionics Technician where he got his start in the electrical trade troubleshooting all electrical systems to the component level on the CH-53E helicopter.                                                                                      

Diego is the Lighting expert of Knox Electric. He is a California Certified General Electrician who had an established career as a Foreman with one of San Diego's largest and well respected Electrical Contractors before joining the Knox Electric Team. He is also a Certified  NLCAA Title 24 Lighting Acceptance Test Technician. His speciality with lighting systems includes installation, programming and certifying complicated lighting controls systems to ensure compliance with California Energy Codes.

Diego has certified hundreds of lighting systems in the Greater San Diego Area in every type of commercial facility that is required to be certified. This is what makes him the resident lighting aficionado here at Knox Electric. Diego has been in the electrical trade for over 20 years.
